Elizabeth Tuites, DH, MA, CCC-SLP, COM earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communicative Disorders and Sciences from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the State University of New York at Geneseo. Elizabeth is a Board Certified Orofacial Myologist through the International Association of Orofacial Myology (IAOM). Elizabeth has an associates degree in Dental Hygiene from Erie Community College State University of New York, with 20 years of experience working in a variety of dental practices and health care facilities.
Elizabeth had a private practice from 2008-2017 providing speech-language therapy and orofacial myofunctional therapy. Prior to that she was a school based Speech-Language Pathologist working with children from K - 12th grade. Presently, Elizabeth provides speech-language therapy and myofunctional therapy to preschool age children in Genesee County New York.
Elizabeth is uniquely qualified as a Certified Orofacial Myologist with both the dental hygiene and speech pathology educations and experiences. She understands the interconnected relationship between the specialties making her highly qualified to provide orofacial myofunctional therapy.
Elizabeth is a member of both the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) and the International Association of Orofacial Myology (IAOM).
